Tenebrae Service

A Tenebrae Service will be held during Holy Week, on Wednesday, April 13th at 6:00 PM in parish hall (please note there will be NO evening Mass at 5:30 PM). “Tenebrae” is a Latin word that simply means “darkness” or “shadows”. It is a devotion that dates back to the seventh or eight century A.D. and is characterized by the successive extinguishing of candles as the prayer service progresses. The service promises to be a solemn evening that will benefit the spirit of worship.
