Dear OL of Assumption Parishioners and Friends,

Welcome to our Lent 2025 ( spring) Session of Bible Study.

Topic: Book of Exodus

Time/Location: Wednesdays, from March 19 to April 9: morning sessions at 10AM and evening session at 6PM in the parish hall. RSVP NOT required.

Material: The Bible (preferably Catholic study Edition), Collegeville Bible Commentary Series, Volume: 3, will be provided. Handouts and Instructional Material provided as well.

It is hard to believe that we are already planning parish activities for Lent 2025; yet it is only 2 weeks from Ash Wednesday of this year, and in addition to all prayerful components of Lent, I thought that a Bible Study Session on the Book of Exodus could be a very helpful element of preparation thru Lent for Paschal Mysteries of Christ’s Passion, Death and Resurrection.
