Faith Formation Registration

We are in the process of registration for the upcoming school year. Registration forms and the 2026-2027 Program Year Calendar are posted on the website at: olaffld.org, under the Faith Formation tab. Emails with attachments have been sent to current participants. Please mail the form and check to us or arrange to stop in by appointment. Contact the Faith Formation office directly should you have any questions at (203) 367-1108 or by email at our.lady.assumption@snet.net. We are looking forward to another great year with you and your children.

Catechists Needed

Please consider being a Catechist in our Faith Formation Program! Catechists are called to minister to the children of our Parish. They are asked to share their faith with the children, and “echo” God’s message of love and hope. Is God calling you to this ministry? Our Faith Formation program is growing and growing! We need your help and the gifts you would bring to our children. Catechists are needed on Tuesday afternoon (4:15 – 5:00 PM) or on Tuesday evening (7:00-7:45 PM). Sisters in Faith

Thanks to all who joined us for our 4th Annual International Potluck Dinner. We love to celebrate the Global Church and be reminded that “From sunrise in Sydney to nightfall in Sao Paolo, Catholic Liturgy never stops! .The Catholic Mass is the most frequently celebrated religious ritual on Earth.” How’s that for HOPE in this world!” A Catholic Mass is being said every second all around the world…actually about 5! Think of a Catholic Priest lifting up the Eucharist eleven times every second around the world! Heaven and Earth are truly connected”. And a very special Thank You to Tom Davis for his wonderful and very informative presentation on Pope Leo’s Encyclical, “Magnifica Huminatas”. How blessed are we that Pope Leo is on the forefront of AI and its impact on the world! Next Gathering: Please join us for an Outdoor Rosary on the rectory lawn on Monday, July 20th at 6:00 PM. Please bring a chair or blanket. In the case of inclement weather, we will meet in the Church. Happy Summer to All! Happy 4th of July to all as we celebrate 250 years of America!
