We invite you to bring your pet(s) to have them blessed during our daily evening Mass on Monday, October 4, at the 5:30 PM in honor of St. Francis of Assisi. The Mass and blessing will take place outside in the yard behind the rectory. However, in case of bad weather, Mass will be held in the church. If you are unable to attend Mass, our priests will be in the yard behind the rectory from 4:30 to 5:15 PM for your pet’s blessing only. Please have your pets on a leash or in a carrier. All pets and their owners are welcome!
Thank you very much to Gerald Agoglia, Director of Off the Streets, for his wonderful presentation on this ministry to get people “off the streets” and into homes. This ministry changes lives one family at a time! OTS will be hosting a virtual FUNDRAISER on Wednesday, October 6th, from 7:30-9. Professor Julie Pycior will lead a conversation on her latest book, “Dorothy Day, Thomas Merton and the Greatest Commandment: Radical Love in Times of Crisis.” OTS is asking for a $20 donation to attend this virtual event. NO 5:30 PM Evening Masses Due to our Confirmation Ceremonies, there will be NO 5:30 PM evening Mass on Friday, November 12. Our 7:30 AM morning Mass will be celebrated.
American Heritage Girls Soup Fundraiser Looking for a quick and easy dinner option that’s also healthy? Assumption’s American Heritage Girls Troop 4862 will be offering a variety of delicious soup mixes to purchase after Masses on October 30 & 31 in the parish hall. Your participation in this fundraiser goes a long way toward the girls’ funding future camping trips. Thank you in advance for your support.
All are welcome to Fr. Peter’s Halloween Celebration Family Mass on Sunday, October 31st at 9:00 AM. Let’s get those pew filled with kids, like a bag filled with candy after a good Halloween trick or treating! There is no greater treat than the Holy Eucharist. It is encouraged, if your chil-dren would like to come dressed in a favorite or notable Saint costume please do so
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament Will take place on Friday, November 5, following the 7:30 AM Mass and will conclude on First Saturday, November 6, prior to the 7:30 AM Mass. Due to Masses in church on Friday, the Blessed Sacrament will be reposed from 8:45 AM to 10:00 AM and 5:15 PM to 6:00 PM. All are welcome to come and spend a hour with Jesus
