Memorial Ornaments

Perhaps one of the greatest symbols of hope and comfort is a well lit and decorated Christmas Tree. The Christmas season, though referred to as the Season of Joy can also be a season of profound sadness for families whose loved ones have passed. They are never forgotten. As in the past years, Our Lady of the Assumption Parish will set up a Memorial Christmas Tree with personalized Memorial Ornaments. If you would like to have your loved one or possibly as a gift to a family member or friend who recently lost a loved one, remembered on an ornament, please send an email to: [email protected] with their name.
There is a limit of ONE ornament per family; however, you can include up to two first or two last names. For example, Sue & John Smith or Smith & Jones Families. Please submit names NO later than Monday, December 2nd.
During our weekend Masses on December 7/8 a prayer will be offered for the names memorialized on the tree. Following this weekend, you are welcome to take your ornament in Church until December 13. Afterwards, your ornament will be at the rectory for you to pick up.
